The first pedal strokes of the 73rd edition of the International Cycling Tour of Guadeloupe will be given at 1:30 p.m. 124 runners will take the start of a unique 3.2 km prologue in Basse-Terre.
The start will be given in Bas du Bourg, an emblematic district of the capital. There are many historic buildings there, some dating from colonial times.
The peloton will then head towards rue Nolivos, in the city center, the République roundabout then that of rue Victor Hugo, before heading towards avenue Paul Lacavé.
After passing the Guadeloupe prefecture, rue Lardenoy, the finish line located on Allée Frantz Fanon will mark the end of today's stage. The first runner is expected around 1:35 p.m., according to the organizers' forecasts.
