The Kansas City Chiefs will be locking horns against the Kansas City Chiefs this Saturday. While John Harbaugh and Co. will be all set on their home turn to start their preseason opener on the right foot with a win, Raheem Morris and Co. will also be on the hunt for their first preseason win, coming off a loss from the Dolphins.

John Harbaugh and Co. last got their hands on the Superbowl about 8 years ago in 2012. Now, John Harbaugh's roster is looking sharp. Lamar Jackson is expected to lead the team, with WRs Rashod Bateman, Devontez Walker, Tylan Wallace and Deonte Harty accompanying him.

The rest of the offense looks just as solid as the 2023 season, in which they finished 4th in total points scored, first in rushing, and fourth in offensive DVOA.

The Lions are entering the 2024 season with fresh energy. They have a new starting quarterback in Kirk Cousins, a new offensive coordinator, and a new head coach, Raheem Morris.

While the Lions’ offensive strategy will be a point of intrigue, their defense is anticipated to be solid. Defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake has indicated that Atlanta will employ a base 3-4 defense, which typically includes two inside linebackers.
